The award-winning literature-based unit study, The Prairie Primer, is a ticket to adventure for third through sixth graders. With this interdisciplinary approach, they make butter, analyze owl pellets, watch muzzle loading guns being fired, study the grizzly and learn about animal classification. As they encounter life on the frontier with the Ingalls family, students are challenged to grow in character and wisdom.
Voyage through the world of C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia. Join your fourth through eighth graders for a family adventure in learning with Further Up and Further In. This interdisciplinary approach to the study of the seven Narnia books focuses on English and literature, history, social studies, geography, science, Bible, character-building, cooking, and art.
From the practical to the poetic, students of Where the Brook and River Meet journey through the Victorian Era and the world of Anne of Green Gables. Through varied, thought-provoking activities that stimulate interest as well as inquiry, junior high and high school girls explore the events andculture of this unique time in history.
